The Novack Family Easter Traditions!

Hey Dad, where the heck did you hide that last egg? Now that Easter weekend has arrived, I'm reflecting on my favorite memories as a child. My sisters and I used to color eggs with my dad and he would be in charge of hiding all of them, just in time for the big Easter egg hunt. I vividly remember one year in particular, where we couldn't find the last egg anywhere. We searched high and low and the egg was nowhere to be found. It wasn't until a year later that I discovered a terrible odor coming from the piano bench. I opened the bench and lo and behold, there was our egg. Ha! Thanks Dad! Easter time around the Novack house was a special time when we overloaded ourselves on chocolate (Hello Cadbury Eggs!) and went to church with the family. I absolutely love this time of year because the beautiful flowers are blooming everywhere and it's a wonderful time to spend with your family and friends. Now that I am older, the importance of tradition is one that I will keep close to my heart. I have taken on new traditions with my husband as this is our first Easter married. He is Jewish so we are able to celebrate both Passover and Easter this weekend. It's beautiful to see both religions carry out such lovely traditions with our families! And from our family to yours...We hope everyone has a happy and healthy Easter and Passover!
