I just returned back from a whirlwind trip to Washington State and oh what a time it was. They say travel turns you into a storyteller and I believe this trip was one for the books. Honestly, I don’t even know where to begin. From walking around the brisk and beautiful emerald city of Seattle to hiking the Olympic Peninsula and so forth, there is so much to be said about one of the most amazing parts of our country. I am going to write a series of articles over the next few weeks because I can’t possibly write about my journey in one collective article. To better explain my once in a lifetime adventure, let’s start with my staycations at some of the hippest hotels in Seattle. When I travel, I like to stay in some of the most unique and interesting establishments that I am certain people will know and love. A place that feels like home and excels in comfort, class, and hospitality. The two hotels that I had the pleasure of experiencing on this particular voyage were The Pan Pacific Seattle and The Hyatt Regency Seattle. Both hotels are uniquely different and had a lot to offer for a traveler like me. Let me share my wonderful stories and why I would go back to them in a heartbeat.

THE PAN PACIFIC SEATTLE HOTEL

The first stop of my lovely staycation in Seattle belongs to The Pan Pacific Seattle Hotel. Located in the heart of Downtown Seattle, this hotel goes above and beyond all expectations. When you arrive, the valet is there to greet you with a warm welcome and as you enter the hotel, you feel like you stepped into a slice of the great outdoors. Decorated with a gorgeous state of the art fireplace and a dreamy descending staircase, the Pan Pacific Hotel is nothing less than extraordinary. The staff treated me with the utmost respect and they answered every question I had about Seattle with great ease. When I reached my room with much anticipation, I opened the door to a large and very peaceful place equipped with two queen beds and an epic view of the space needle. Not to mention the bathroom was large enough to fit at least 4 people and the bathtub was marvelous! (I prefer baths over showers when I travel, it allows me to relax a bit more). The doors from the bathtub open up to the room and you could also see the needle from the tub. These type of sliding doors from the bathtub reminded me of my trip to Asia as I have experienced them there as well. A fun fact about The Pan Pacific Hotel: It is the only Pan Pacific property in the USA which is an Asian based hotel group! It is conveniently located on top of a Whole Foods market and there are some delicious restaurants in the area within walking distance! It is a terrific area to explore both day and night and they have a beautiful terrace with a birds eye view of the city. All in all, I give this hotel a 5 star rating as it made my trip to Seattle that much better. Do yourself a favor and book this hotel on your next trip to the Pacific Northwest. See for yourself with the pictures below. If you intend on traveling up here, this hotel is a must and you can find more about their information HERE!

The Hyatt Regency Seattle Hotel

My second stop along the tour of my favorite hotels in Seattle belongs to the new Hyatt Regency Hotel located in Downtown Seattle. Not only is this the largest hotel in the Pacific Northwest but each room comes equipped with floor to ceiling windows with majestic views of the city and mountains, beautifully modern bathrooms with fantastic amenities, and stellar portraits of the Northwest taken by local Seattle artists. It is a truly one of a kind hotel. On the eighth floor of this modern resort, you enter the Club lounge, which features an extensive outdoor terrace patio that wraps around the building and features astounding views of the city below. This hotel is brand new, opening it’s doors this past December, and it has so much to offer the frequent traveler. On the bottom of the main floor, there is a restaurant that I dined in the last night of my trip called The Andare Kitchen + Bar. It was beyond delicious! Cavatelli pasta (made in house) with ricotta served 3 ways-in the sauce, shaved ricotta, and whipped ricotta on the top. Duck pizza served with garlic, greens on the top and a dash of basalmic. To take a look at their menu, click HERE (lunch menu) and HERE (dinner menu) and see the dishes for yourself.
